The preliminary catch for the Oregon Central Coast all depths spring sport halibut fishery through June 4 was 108,114 pounds, leaving 21,924 pounds to be harvested. Fishery managers anticipate this will sustain two more days of fishing. Therefore, the Oregon Central Coast Spring All-Depth sport halibut fishery will reopen for two days on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18. Thursday, June 16 will not be open. State fishery managers will then review the catch and announce if sufficient quota remains for future openings.
