2019 IPHC Fishery-Independent Setline Survey (FISS)

Refer to the 2019 Vessel Bid Specifications for detailed requirements for the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC) Fishery-Independent Setline Survey (FISS). Please submit a separate Vessel Tender Form for each charter region if your terms differ or combinations thereof are not the same.

While a maximum of four charter regions may be awarded, you are encouraged to bid on any number or combination of regions. For vessels who successfully bid on more than one charter region, the IPHC will determine which region(s) to award. All FISS work must take place between 26 May and 31 August 2019. The IPHC Secretariat will actively schedule vessels to meet program and personnel needs and may stagger the start of the different FISS vessels in order to complete the work.

Provide a detailed deck diagram (8.5" x 11") depicting working stations, locations of hatch and checkers, cleaning tables, gurney, baiting areas, etc. Indicate anticipated shack and cradle placement. The location of the shack must not obstruct fishing or processing operations and must be close to the dressing table. Where possible provide dimensions.
