IPHC News Release 2019-010 Recreational Fishery Closure in IPHC Regulatory Area 2A: Columbia River All-Depth

29 May 2019

Closed: Columbia River (WDFW Marine Area 1, ODFW Columbia River Sub-area) all-depth Pacific halibut recreational fishery. The all-depth quota for the Columbia River subarea (Washington and Oregon combined) is projected to have been attained as of Sunday, 26 May 2019. No quota remains for additional open days. As a result the Columbia River all-depth Pacific halibut recreational fishery will close Wednesday, 29 May 2019 at 2359 hours. This fishery will then be closed for the remainder of 2019.
