IPHC Media Release 2020-012 IPHC Fishery Regulations (2020) – Updated

20 May 2020

SEATTLE – The International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC) held a Special Session on 20 May 2020 via webinar, resulting in regulatory changes to management measures in the waters of the United States of America.

In accordance with the IPHC Convention[1], the fishery regulations approved by the IPHC will be recommended to the Contracting Parties for implementation according to their domestic law and regulation.

Please note, current IPHC Fishery Regulations supersede all previous regulations of the Commission, and shall be effective each succeeding year until superseded.
