Current IPHC Responsibilities:
Primary assistant to the Executive Director. In the office, I help keep the operational, administrative, and communications wheels turning in support of our science and management of Pacific halibut. I also serve as Branch Manager for Fisheries Policy and Economics. Outside the office, I represent the IPHC to other agencies and organizations.
In addition to my duties as Assistant Director, I serve as Branch Manager for Fisheries Policy and Economics. I represent the IPHC to other agencies and organizations and coordinate our policy efforts with the assistance of the staff members from several other Branches pictured below on the previous page.
I came to the IPHC after serving for many years as a US Navy officer, attracted by the IPHC’s unique combination of science, policy, public service, and the ocean. My background is in operations and engineering, which have been very useful in supporting our scientific and resource management enterprise.
