IPHC-2025-MR002 IPHC Requests Tenders for the 2025 Fishery-Independent Setline Survey (FISS) Reminder and Q&A Session

SEATTLE – Following our initial announcement on 13 December 2024, the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC) is reminding vessel owners that tenders are now being accepted for the 2025 Fishery-Independent Setline Survey (FISS). Vessel owners are invited to submit tenders based on the 2025 IPHC FISS Vessel Tender Specifications. These specifications, along with the required Vessel Tender Forms, are available on the IPHC website: Vessel Recruiting | IPHC. Details about an additional opportunity, the Catch Protection Study, can also be found at the same link.

 

Reminder: Submissions must be completed no later than 23:59 (Pacific) on 3 February 2025.

 

To address questions and provide clarification on the 2025 FISS RFT process and specifications, the IPHC will host a Q&A session during the 101st Session of the IPHC Annual Meeting (AM101):

·      Date: Tuesday, 28 January 2025

·      Location: Crystal Ballroom, Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver, B.C., Canada

·      Time: 17:00–18:30 PST

·      Remote Access: Please register for the AM101 via the meeting page. The AM101 meeting link
will open at the scheduled time of the session.
